This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Goodale State Park, and after a long day outdoors Camden Motel is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. A pleasant close by hotel is Plantation Motel; you'll hit upon a pretty lake called Hyatts Millpond. You'll need more than a day to look at everything West Millpond has to offer, you can camp at Columbia/camden RV Park, and as expected Beaverdam Branch is a picturesque stream       that is worth stopping at. West Millpond is a wet location that gets much rain; July is when you get the most rain here while April is ordinarily the driest month. Lots of folks from Lancaster come to West Millpond. High temperatures at West Millpond during the summer are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
