Just can't get enough of Wessons Lake. Camping at Pine Ridge Campground is always a pleasant experience. During your trip to Wessons Lake you'll meet some folks from Spartanburg for sure, and South Tyger River is a great whitewater spot nearby. Through the summertime, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Wessons Lake, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter       comes with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Wessons Lake dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. A large amount of rain falls at Wessons Lake; March is when you get the most rain here, and April is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Comfort Suites Spartanburg is a fine choice, and in case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Middle Tyger River.
