Swamps can be such out of the ordinary sites, check out Big Bay while you're here at Weeks Pond, and lots of people from Sumter come here. For the period of the warm months at Weeks Pond highs are mostly in the 80's; the night is quite colder of course, ordinarily in the 60's. Daytime       highs all through the wintertime are in the 50's while Weeks Pond night low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's. Be careful coming to Weeks Pond, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Cain Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and Days Inn Sumter is a great place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Do pop by Jones Pond near Weeks Pond, it's a beautiful lake. There's so much to do here at Weeks Pond that you need to                  camp here for a while, Poinsett state Park is a brilliant site for that.
