Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Pacolet; Croft state Natural Area is a splendid campground here. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Spartanburg, Sc is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and a scenic lake like Fairview Lake is a pleasant site to check out. Waldrops Lake is a wet site that gets a lot of precipitation; during March this area sees the most rain, and April       on the other hand is the driest. So much exciting stuff to do here at Waldrops Lake, too great to be true. Peach Valley Golf Course is a good golf course close by, and Waldrops Lake is a location with many visitors from Spartanburg. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Island Creek; it's a great idea to check out Betty Green Creek. A glorious close by hotel is Best Western Spartanburg Inn; camping at                  Waldrops Lake is tremendous fun, Cunningham RV Park is a tremendous local campground. For the period of the summer months highs here at Waldrops Lake reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's.
