Upper Legion Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water close by flows, like Pen Branch, and if you need a location to stay Days Inn is a good choice. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Broad River, and you'll stumble on a charming lake called Jim Hammond Pond. Dam is pretty.
Upper Legion Lake is a reasonably wet place usually with a large amount of rain; most of the rain falls through March; November on the other hand is the driest. Man, is there a lot of exciting stuff to do right
next door to Upper Legion Lake. Golf can be played at Sedgewood Country Club, and if you came for an overnight stay Sesquicentennial State Park is a magnificent location to camp. Saluda River has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby;
camping at Upper Legion Lake is tremendous fun, Capital City Campground is a tremendous local campground.
