This lake is so wonderful. A good spot for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Upper Legion Lake is Saluda River. High temperatures at Upper Legion Lake during the warmest time of the year are in the 90's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Upper Legion Lake temperatures       plunge to the 20's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Upper Legion Lake. Capital City Campground is a pleasant campground nearby, and lakes are such calm places, why not take a look at Upper Legion Lake.
