If you are traveling by, why not stop by Twin Lakes. Stay the night at Sesquicentennial State Park. A great deal of precipitation falls at Twin Lakes; March is when you get the most rain here, and November is when it's the driest. Lakes are tremendous; Old Heises Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Twin Lakes; Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites COLUMBIA-FORT JACKSON is a great site to get some rest.

90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Twin Lakes plunge into the 20's.
All our national parks
are great places to go to, and Congaree Swamp National Monument is no exception, and Twin Lakes is not far at all from Columbia. Any time is a good time at Twin Lakes if you adore the outdoors. A magnificent place for whitewater paddling next to Twin Lakes is Broad River; golf can be played at Sedgewood Country Club.
