You can run the rapids of Lawsons       Fork Creek in close proximity to Turners Pond; why not take a little trip to Rocky Creek since you're here. Bogan Pond is a wonderful lake in the vicinity of Turners Pond. There's so much to do here at Turners Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Rose Hill Plantation state Historic Site is a fine location for that. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Turners Pond.
