If you are in Oconee county it's always a good idea to stop by Turn Hole. You completely have to like the Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Seneca here, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Scaly Mountain while you're here. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Blue Ridge Mountains. Turn Hole is a glorious spot
to visit for more than one day, Cassidy Bridge Campground is a glorious spot to camp nearby, and going for a hike along the Chattooga Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. At Turn Hole you can catch a glimpse
of Holden Mountain, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Three Forks Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Chattooga River, and if you need a site to stay Old Edwards Inn
and Spa is a good choice. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Camp Chatuga is a brilliant campground nearby, and skiing at Sky Valley is one of those things you just have to do. Turn Hole is one of the lakes here in
the Blue Ridge Mountains. All through the months of summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Turn Hole. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Turn Hole dipping
down into the 20's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Near Turn Hole you come across glorious sites like Big Shoals, and Adline Branch is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to.
