Toxaway Lake is a spot with many visitors from Brevard, and there's always Jocassee Dam to pop by close to Toxaway Lake. Stay the night at Devils Fork State Park, and the Foothills Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Executive Inn is a pleasant choice. At Toxaway Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows drop       down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Toxaway Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. There's whitewater on Eastatoe Creek - Lower Gorge for all you thrill seekers, of course you could also stop by Lake Jocassee if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Winding Stairs Trail, and a lake close by is Lake Jocasse. The high                  level of rain makes Toxaway Lake a rather wet spot; during March this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is April. Dry warm beds await you at Sapphire Valley Resort. There's so much to do here at Toxaway Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Keowee-Toxaway state Natural Area is a great spot for that.
