Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Executive Inn, and an attention-grabbing thing to stop at near Toxaway Lake is Jocassee Dam. There are other places here than Toxaway Lake, for example Lake Jocasse, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Toxaway Lake; Foothills Trail is a great local trail. Summertime highs at Toxaway Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. The       wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Toxaway Lake drop into the 20's.
