    Do stop by Timmons Pond while you're in this part of South Carolina. Tall Pine Lakes is a perfect lake close to Timmons Pond. A glorious place to camp here at Timmons Pond is Solitude Pointe; if you come at the right time of year, Saluda River offers some delightful whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Jameson Inn Easley is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and some of the water nearby flows, like Middle Saluda River.
 
   Summer brings highs in the 80's to Timmons Pond, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Timmons Pond dip into the 20's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Timmons Pond. Timmons Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Holly Hill RV Park is a wonderful local campground, and the summit  
               of Billingsly Hill can be distinguished from Timmons Pond. A lot of rain falls at Timmons Pond; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while January is mostly the driest month.
Here at Timmons Pond you'll probably meet some folks from Greenville, and dry warm beds await you at Easley-Days Inn West Of Greenville/Clemson Area. A lovely lake like Philpat Pond next to Timmons Pond is a brilliant location to explore; float down the rapids of North Saluda River in a kayak.

Bought by Susan and Steve Suber in 1997, the Flowermill RV. campground is in Taylors, SC. It's proximity to The Mountains and surrounding lakes makes it a perfect place to stay. The park is right next to the Enoree river on land that was once used as a mill. The old structure still exists as does the dam that provided its power. With its sandy beach and beautiful waterfall, I cant think of a better place to relax and let the sounds of nature wash the stress away. The owners couldn't have been nicer or more informative. A pure delight...
