A fine place for whitewater paddling near Taylor Pond is Broad River, and camping at Sesquicentennial State Park is always a great experience. Saluda River is a great whitewater spot close to Taylor Pond, and dry warm beds await you at American Inn - Fort Jackson. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent place to camp here at Taylor Pond is Barnyard RV Park, and people from Columbia love to come here. All through the summertime at Taylor Pond highs are typically

| | in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's; overnight lows during the winter for Taylor Pond tend to be in the 20's.
Lakes are such calm places, why not stop at Kibler Pond right next door to Taylor Pond, and after a long day outdoors Masters Inn Columbia-I-26 is a glorious place to spend a night or two. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the neighborhood of Taylor Pond. A | |

wonderful lake like Staten Pond right next door to Taylor Pond is a tremendous spot to go to, and Charwood Golf Club is a golf course nearby. A quick trip to Savana Branch in the vicinity of Taylor Pond is a great idea, and dropping
by Congaree Swamp National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet.
This lake is so wonderful. Taylor Pond is a wet spot that gets a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is generally March, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is November.
