Howards Pond is a lake close by, and if you came to camp Flynn's Inn Camping Village is a nice place to do that. Nearby lakes? Sure, Laurel Lake is near Swints Lake; if you're here and you like golf, you can pop by Mount Vintage Plantation Golf Club. Through the warm months at Swints Lake highs are typically in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. During the wintertime highs are generally       in the 50's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Swints Lake tend to be in the 30's. Man, is there loads of fun stuff to do near Swints Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Augusta at I-20, GA, and there are some good whitewater spots on Savannah River. Swints Lake is right by the Horn Creek Hiking Trail. There's so much to do here at Swints Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Betty's RV and Trailer Court is                  a splendid location for that. This lake is so wonderful. Swints Lake is not far at all from Augusta-Richmond County, and after a long day outdoors Sleep Inn & Suites is a wonderful location to spend a night or two. Take a hike on the Turkey Creek Hiking Trail.
