What a nice lake Stone Lake is. This lake is so wonderful. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Stone Lake. Piney Mountain can be seen from Stone Lake, and naturally, this is a good area for people who like lakes, Buckhorn Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. Throughout the warm months highs here at Stone Lake reach the 70's with night lows in the 60's. All through the winter the highs are commonly in the 40's, and nighttime

Saluda River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby; if you came to camp Rainbow RV Park is a perfect site to do that. Richland Creek is in close proximity to Stone Lake and is always a pleasure to take a look at, and you're almost certainly addicted to lakes, Snyder Pond is one of those close by. Stone Lake is a quite wet place typically with a good deal of rain; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain; September is the month with the least moisture. At Stone Lake you always meet
someone from Greenville; in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Reedy River. This lake is so wonderful. A good nearby hotel is Pettigru Place. There's so much to do here at Stone Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Paris Mountain State Park is a magnificent place for that.
