Do stop by Staten Pond while you're in this part of South Carolina. Summertime at Staten Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 90's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Staten Pond. This is a nice region for people who like lakes. Stanley Pond is a lake around here, and Country Hearth Inn Cayce is a glorious location to get some rest. So much exciting

| | stuff to do at Staten Pond, so little time. If you came for an overnight stay Barnyard RV Park is a good site to camp; Congaree Swamp National Monument is a very fine site to stop by.
The high level of rainfall makes Staten Pond a quite wet spot; March is when you get the most rain here, and November on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Saluda River, and dry warm beds await you at Masters Inn | |

This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Kibler Pond, and camping is available at Sesquicentennial State Park. If you come at the right time of
year, Broad River offers some nice whitewater; Savana Branch is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Charwood Golf Club; there are plenty of people from Columbia here.
