Quality Inn Fort Jackson is a great place to get some rest, and Spring Valley Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Bethel Campground is a nice local campground. Spring Valley Lake is not far at all from Columbia; Sorghum Branch is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Spring Valley Lake you can play some golf at Northwoods Golf Club; if you haven’t been to Congaree Swamp National

| | Monument, you have to schedule some time for it if you're here. Paddling on Saluda River is so much fun, also Entrance Lake Dam is worth visiting if you're here.

Spring Valley Lake, it truly has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. If you came to camp Capital City Campground is a good place to do that; if you've had enough of Spring Valley Lake, Bruners Pond is nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
You could also have a look at Entrance Lake since you're here at Spring Valley Lake; it's close by.
Whitewater paddling is great on Broad River, and if you need a location to stay Wingate by Wyndham Columbia / Ft. Jackson is a
great choice. The high level of rainfall makes Spring Valley Lake a quite wet site; the month with most of the rain is March while November is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
