In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Broad River; Coopers Pond Dam is an interesting thing to check out. There's some flowing water close by, Eightmile Branch is a stream you can have a look at during your stay, and at Spring Lake you always meet someone from Columbia. Super 8 Columbia/Ft. Jackson Area is a delightful site to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Spring Lake that you need to camp here

| | for a while, Capital City Campground is a delightful site for that. Spring Lake is a reasonably wet place mostly with a great deal of precipitation; throughout March this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is November.
This lake is so wonderful. Saluda River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. The vistas at Congaree Swamp National Monument will blow your mind; Spring Lake is not the only spot nearby, Coopers Pond is a nearby | |

lake. Yeah, come here to Spring Lake for a good time. Near Spring Lake you discover a golf course called Northwoods Golf Club. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Spring Lake has to offer, you can camp at Sesquicentennial
State Park.
Summertime highs at Spring Lake mostly tend to be in the 90's; the night is quite chillier of course, mostly in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 50's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Spring
Lake temperatures fall to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Columbia/Fort Jackson is a splendid place to spend a night or two, and a lake close by is Rockford Lake.
