Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Enoree River, and Travelers Inn is a good spot to get some rest. The high level of precipitation makes Smiths Pond a reasonably wet spot; March is the month that gets the most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. During the warmest time of the year at Smiths Pond highs are frequently in the       90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. During the winter the highs are usually in the 50's while Smiths Pond nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's. There's whitewater on Cedar Shoals Creek for all you adrenaline kick people; Smiths Pond is a pleasant location to camp, Kinards Koa Kampground is a pleasant location. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Smiths Pond has to offer, you can camp at Brick House Campground.                  This lake is so wonderful.
