Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at Smith Pond get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Smith Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Near Smith Pond you come across a golf course called Chickasaw Point Golf Course the Trails, and get your heart pumping on the nice       whitewater of Snow River. If you get bored of Smith Pond, you could also stop by nearby Mitchells Lake, and after a long day outdoors Seneca-Days Inn Clemson is a brilliant location to spend a night or two. If you like the outdoors, you'll go for Smith Pond. Lake Hartwell State Recreation Area is a brilliant campground nearby, and Ables Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore. Edgewater Lodge and Campground is a great local campground, and if you need a                  site to stay Jameson Inn Seneca is a glorious choice. Smith Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while October is generally the driest month.
