Camping is available at Lake Hartwell State Recreation Area, and Villas of Foxwood Hills is a good spot to get some rest. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Smith Pond are in the 20's. Smith Pond is a pretty       wet place mostly with much rain; the month with most of the rain is March, and October meanwhile is the driest month. People from Seneca love to come to Smith Pond, and a tremendous close by hotel is Lakeside Inn. This lake is so wonderful. You're almost certainly hooked on lakes, Ables Pond is one of those close by; drift down the rapids of Snow River in a kayak. So much fun stuff to do here at Smith Pond, too great to be true.
