Many people like to go to Sip Hole. This lake is so wonderful. Why not pop by Belmont Neck also while you're here; Columbia/camden RV Park is a delightful campground nearby. A good nearby hotel is Comfort Inn & Suites, and if you came for an overnight stay Goodale State Park is a delightful location to camp. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CAMDEN-I20 (HWY 521) is a magnificent place to spend a night or two; obviously Big Pine Tree

At Sip Hole during the summertime highs are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Sip Hole. The high level of rain makes Sip Hole a pretty wet spot; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and April is the month with the least moisture.
