What a nice lake Simpson Pond is. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Fairfield Inn & Suites Columbia Northeast is a good choice, and obviously Jackson Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth visiting. Why not camp at Capital City Campground if you're here at Simpson Pond, and golf can be played at Northwoods Golf Club. Simpson Pond usually gets much rain; the wettest month of the year is regularly March, that's the one that rains the most;

The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Simpson Pond. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's.
