Sikes Pond is a wet place that gets much rainfall; July is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is October. Camping at Sesquicentennial State Park is always a great experience. Summer at Sikes Pond comes with high temperatures in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 70's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Sikes Pond are in       the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to come across some fine people from Orangeburg here, and Sleep Inn Orangeburg is a wonderful place to get some rest.
