Shoals Lake is always a pleasure to visit. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. Powder Branch is a perfect spot to stop at; you can stay the night at Creekside RV Park. The great folks of Spartanburg like to hang out close by, and there's whitewater on Middle Tyger River for all you thrill seekers. This lake is so wonderful. Berry Shoals is always fun to check out, and Shoals Lake is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Cunningham RV Park

Lakes are such serene places, why not visit Silver Lake close to Shoals Lake, and after a long day outdoors Jameson Inn Duncan is a great site to spend a night or two. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend South Tyger River. Dry warm beds await you at Microtel Inn Spartanburg/Duncan, and there are other spots here than Shoals Lake, for example Berry Shoals Pond.
