This place, Sherrells Pond, it just has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Jameson Inn Lancaster is a brilliant spot to get some rest. During the warmest time of the year, highs regularly are in the 80's at Sherrells Pond. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime       temperatures at Sherrells Pond drop into the 30's. Flag Pond Branch is a great location to stop by; at Sherrells Pond you always meet someone from Lancaster. Landsford Canal State Park is a glorious campground nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Travelodge Lancaster. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Catawba River; Culp Lake is a delightful lake nearby. Andrew Jackson State Park                  is a glorious local campground. Lakes? Sure, Culps Pond is in the vicinity.
