Pine Ridge Campground is a good local campground; Sherberts Lake is a site with many visitors       from Spartanburg. The peak of Lucas Hill can be seen from Sherberts Lake, and Sherberts Lake is not the only place nearby, Lake Zimmerman is a nearby lake. Sherberts Lake is a rather wet place ordinarily with a large amount of precipitation; March is when you get the most rain here, and November is when it's the driest. You truly should fancy Sherberts Lake. A brilliant nearby hotel is Sleep Inn Spartanburg, and Sherberts Lake is a wonderful place to visit                  for more than one day, Croft state Natural Area is a wonderful place to camp nearby. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on North Tyger River, of course you could also check out Forest Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. Getting to Harrison Branch from Sherberts Lake is trouble-free; if you're a golfer then a great nearby course is The Creek Golf Club.
