Shaley Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and April is the month with the least moisture. Dry warm beds await you at Websters Manor; a cool spot to visit is Red Bluff. This lake is so wonderful. The Decanter Inn is a great place to get some rest, and folks from Dillon love to come here. At Shaley Lake through the warm days of summer highs are in the       90's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Shaley Lake temperatures sink to the 30's. Shaley Lake is not the only place close by, Alligator Lake is a close by lake, and Brown Swamp is one of the streams nearby that might be worth taking a look at. Shaley Lake is a perfect location to camp, Little Pee Dee State Park is a perfect location;                  in the vicinity of Shaley Lake you come across a golf course called Pineland Country Club.
