Enjoy a round of golf at Sumter National Golf Club not far from Second Millpond, and not far from Second Millpond you acquire some good water scenery at Upper Deerwood Lake Dam. This lake is so wonderful. This is a glorious vicinity for people who like lakes. Lower Deerwood Lake is a lake around here, and dry warm beds await you at Economy Inn. Best Western Sumter Inn is a delightful site to get some rest, and camping       is available at Poinsett state Park. Some of the water nearby flows, like Mush Swamp; you're sure to come across some friendly people from Sumter here. And that's not all you can do here at Second Millpond. If you came for an overnight stay Elliott's Landing and Campground is a pleasant place to camp. Summertime highs at Second Millpond mostly tend to be in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. All through the winter highs                  are generally in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Second Millpond are in the 20's.
