Secession Lake is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Rocky River; getting to East Beards Creek from Secession Lake is easy. You'll meet a lot of people from Anderson here. If you need a site to stay Hilltop Motel is a wonderful choice, and Secession Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Calhoun Falls State Recreation Area is a pleasant local campground.
