Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Columbia Airport, SC is a perfect site to get some rest, and after a long day outdoors Country Hearth Inn Cayce is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something right next door to Schumpert Pond? Guignard Pond is in the neighborhood, and whitewater paddling is fine on Broad       River. Throughout the summer months, highs mostly are in the 90's at Schumpert Pond, and the night is quite colder of course, generally in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's with temperatures at Schumpert Pond dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. At Schumpert Pond you always meet someone from Columbia; if you came for an overnight stay Edmund RV Park is a fine location to camp. Schumpert Pond                  mostly gets lots of precipitation; March is the wettest month with most rain, and November is the month with the least moisture. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Hidden Valley Golf Club is around here; Barnyard RV Park is a great campground nearby. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Schumpert Pond.
