Camping at Saylors Lake is splendid fun, Sesquicentennial State Park is a splendid local campground, and you're sure to stumble upon some cheerful folks from Columbia here. The high level of rain makes Saylors Lake a pretty wet spot; all through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is October. You are right next door to Bell Hall Neck if you're here at Saylors Lake; swing by Mill Creek it's a splendid                  site to stop at. This lake is so wonderful. A journey to Congaree Swamp National Monument is worthwhile, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Saluda River. Broad River is a fine whitewater spot in the vicinity of Saylors Lake; swamps like Devils Orchard are fun to have a look at. Through the summertime here at Saylors Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 70's.
