Barnnets Pond is a delightful lake near Rymers Pond, and camping at Rymers Pond is good fun, Bethel Campground is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Rymers Pond there are plenty of folks from Columbia, and there are some great whitewater spots on Broad River. But wait, there's more to do next to Rymers Pond. If you need a place to stay Hudson Motel is a tremendous choice; a good close by       hotel is Days Inn. Rymers Pond usually gets a great deal of rainfall; March is when you get the most rain here while November is mostly the driest month. Congaree Swamp National Monument is one of the destinations right next door to Rymers Pond that are good to go to; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Saluda River. For the duration of the summer months at Rymers Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 90's.                  When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Rymers Pond.
