Some nearby water includes Indian Field Swamp, and Jones Lake is a wonderful lake nearby. The high level of rainfall makes Rumphs Pond a rather wet spot; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is November. If only every place had this much       outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great planet it would be. Lakes? Sure, Railroad Pond is around here, and Econo Lodge Saint George is a pleasant place to get some rest. During the warm months highs here at Rumphs Pond reach the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Rumphs Pond temperatures sink to the 30's.                  This lake is so wonderful.
