Sesquicentennial State Park is a good campground here. For the period of the months of summer, highs usually are in the 90's at Roundabout Lake with nighttime lows in the 70's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Roundabout Lake. Roundabout Lake gets much water; July is the wettest month with most rain; October on the other hand       is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous nearby hotel is Candlewood Suites COLUMBIA-FT. JACKSON, and don't forget to take a pleasant little tour to Mill Creek. Don't forget to go to Bell Hall Neck while you're here at Roundabout Lake; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Saluda River. Roundabout Lake is a pleasant spot to camp, Wheat water Lake Campground is a pleasant spot, and do stop by Goose Pond,                  it's a scenic lake. The sights at Congaree Swamp National Monument will blow your mind, and there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Broad River. What a location this is for outdoors folks.
