If you like skiing, you're in luck; Scaly Mountain is close to Roletter Pond, and if you came for an overnight stay Cassidy Bridge Campground is a nice spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Brasstown Creek, and going       for a hike along the Bartram Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This place, Roletter Pond, it definitely has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. At Roletter Pond you always meet someone from Toccoa; a pleasant panorama of beautiful Longnose Mountain is available. For the period of the summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at Roletter Pond. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are commonly in the                  50's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Roletter Pond temperatures descend to the 20's. Roletter Pond is a pretty wet place generally with a large amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is typically March, that's the one that rains the most, and October is the month with the least moisture. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Toccoa is a magnificent site to spend a night or two, and Terrora Campground is a great local campground. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Roletter Pond. Take a side visit to Big Branch, and a lake nearby is Lake Yonah. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Chattooga River, and a day on the slopes of Sky Valley is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful.
