After a long day outdoors Candlewood Suites COLUMBIA-FT. JACKSON is a pleasant site to spend a night or two, and if you're looking for a perfect visit, Congaree Swamp National Monument is quite near. This lake is so wonderful. Savany Hunt Creek is a good spot to visit, and the view of Green Hill Mound is charming. Roland       Lake gets lots of water; July is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is October. If you need a spot to stay Country Inn & Suites By Carlson Columbia is a tremendous choice; swamps like Boggy Gully are fun to take a look at. Camping is available at Capital City Campground, and a perfect spot for whitewater paddling is Broad River. Yeah, come here to Roland Lake for a wonderful time. Here at Roland Lake there are plenty of people                  from Columbia; Saluda River is a nice whitewater spot nearby. At Roland Lake during the warm days of summer highs are in the 90's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Roland Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
