Rockford Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Summertime at Rockford Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's, and the overnight is a tad chillier of course, mostly in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's; night lows at Rockford Lake through the winter frequently fall into the 20's. A splendid place to camp here at Rockford Lake
is Sesquicentennial State Park, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Columbia/Ft. Jackson Area is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two. Dry warm beds await you at Columbia-Days Inn Columbia Mall; why not camp at Capital
City Campground since you're here at Rockford Lake. You'll come across a charming lake called Boyden Arbor Lake near Rockford Lake; Coopers Pond Dam is stunning.
