This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Pearson Falls Gate House is a perfect place to spend a night or two; Orchard Lake Campground is a great campground here. Ridgill Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is April. This spot rules, just look at all the enjoyable stuff to do       in the neighborhood of Ridgill Pond. Whitewater paddling is delightful on North Saluda River, and if you came for an overnight stay Dogwood Travel Trailer Park is a wonderful location to camp.
