Camping at Dogwood Travel Trailer Park is always a good experience; you can run the rapids of North Saluda River. If you need a spot to stay University Inn is a delightful choice, and a wonderful spot for whitewater paddling is Saluda River. At Rich Pond you always meet someone from Greenville. At Rich Pond through the warm months highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges       down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Rich Pond dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. But wait, there's more to do next to Rich Pond. McElhenny Shoal is an inspiring place to check out during your stay, and a delightful nearby hotel is Sleep Inn Travelers Rest. Playing golf is lots of fun at Rolling Green Golf Club; Rich Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Holly Hill RV Park is a great                  local campground. Getting to Armstrong Creek from Rich Pond is trouble-free, as expected you could also have a look at Belue Lake since you're here; it's not far at all.
