Just getting warmed up. A quick spree to Armstrong Creek near Rich Pond is a great idea, and since you're here, you could also go to delightful Pace Pond. There's whitewater on Saluda River for all you adrenaline kick       people, and dry warm beds await you at Jameson Inn Easley. There's so much to do here at Rich Pond that you need to camp here for a while, The Valley Park Resort is a brilliant place for that, and a trip to McElhenny Shoal will fill your spirit with tremendous feelings. The warmest time of the year brings                  highs in the 70's to Rich Pond, and the night is rather chillier of course, generally in the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Rich Pond. The high level of rain makes Rich Pond a relatively wet site; March is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful.
