Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Saluda River, and not far from Reveres Pond you'll discover Captain Jims Pond which is a beautiful lake. The high level of precipitation makes Reveres Pond a reasonably wet location; the wettest month of the year is mostly March, that's the one that rains the most while November is frequently the driest month. If you need a spot to stay       Marina Inn at Grande Dunes is a fine choice. There's so much to do here at Reveres Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Sesquicentennial State Park is a delightful place for that. Sedgewood Country Club is a golf course close to Reveres Pond. This lake is so wonderful. People from Columbia love to come to Reveres Pond; if you come at the right time of year, Broad River offers some fine whitewater. And that's not all you can do here at Reveres Pond.                  Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Lake Rebecca, and Candlewood Suites COLUMBIA-FT. JACKSON is a perfect spot to get some rest. High temperatures at Reveres Pond through the summer months are in the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Reveres Pond plunge into the 20's.
