The beauty of Reno Lake attracts many people from all around. Reno Lake is not the only place close by, Foster Park Lake is a close by lake; get yourself into a kayak and hit Broad River. Dry warm beds await you at Clinton-Days Inn Interstate/Presbyterian College, and glide down the rapids of Tyger River in a kayak. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Reno Lake. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally

| | in the 50's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Reno Lake temperatures dip to the 30's. Camping at Rose Hill Plantation state Historic Site is always a good experience; a lake nearby is Morres Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous site to camp here at Reno Lake is Broad River Campground, and at Reno Lake you always meet someone from Union. Reno Lake truly is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Reno Lake regularly gets a good deal of rain; all through March this area sees the most rain, and November is when it's the driest. | |

Pinecone Campground
 | 11 miles away When we stayed at Pinecone Campground we had a very great time. Even though we read some not-so-good reviews, we had lots of fun. The childern enjoyed the pool and the golf carts and even the teenagers that were there had fun. It is a good family invironment and a good place to go and relax. We havee stayed there since and we will continue to go back. We camped in tents.... |
