Reids Pool is a wet place that gets a great deal of precipitation; during the month of March you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is April. What a site this is for outdoors folks. If you get bored of Reids Pool, you could also go to nearby Williams Lake. Lots of folks from Chester come to Reids Pool, and an afternoon playing golf at Pinetuck Golf Club is always a delight.       This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Reids Pool that you need to camp here for a while, Mc Guire Mobile Home Park is a magnificent place for that, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Richburg is a good place to spend a night or two. Get dripping wet paddling on Catawba River, and a great nearby hotel is Rock Hill Super 8 Motel. Burkette Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and if you came to camp Landsford Canal State Park is                  a wonderful site to do that. Throughout the months of summer at Reids Pool temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
