You'll stumble on a stunning lake called Hughes Lake near Ramsey Pond, and there's nice hiking along the Bartram Trail. This is a popular spot for folks from Toccoa; camping at Sunset Campground is always a pleasant experience. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a delightful time here at Ramsey Pond. Paddling on Chauga River is so much fun,       and don't leave Ramsey Pond without first going for a hike along the Chattooga Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Ramsey Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Toccoa Rv Park & Campground is a good local campground, and golf can be played at Toccoa City Golf Course. Do visit Harper Pond in the neighborhood of Ramsey Pond, it's a beautiful lake, and if you need a spot to stay Knights Inn & Suites Toccoa is a delightful choice. All the water falling                  down from the sky makes Ramsey Pond a wet place; March is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is October. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Ramsey Pond. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are commonly in the 50's while Ramsey Pond night low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
