Whitewater paddling is great on Chauga River, and don't leave Ramsey Pond without first going for a hike along the Burrells Ford Trail. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Toccoa City Golf Course, and after a long day outdoors Toccoa Days Inn is a great site to spend a night or two. Ramsey Pond gets a great deal of water; March is the wettest month with most rain, and October is the       month with the least moisture. At Ramsey Pond through the summer months highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Ramsey Pond are in the 20's. Just can't get enough of Ramsey Pond. Ramsey Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Sunset Campground is a great local campground, and a glorious close by hotel is Knights Inn Toccoa. This                  lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Ramsey Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Toccoa Rv Park & Campground is a glorious spot for that. It's a good idea to go to Walton Creek, it's near Ramsey Pond, and there are glorious places to look at along the Bartram Trail. Get soaked paddling on Brasstown Creek; do go to Lake Louise, it's a wonderful lake. This lake is so wonderful.
