Ramsey Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Chattooga Trail is always a pleasant adventure. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Chauga River, and Church Campground is a fine campground here. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Toccoa Days Inn, and if you came for an overnight stay Sunset Campground is a good place to camp.

If you come at the right time of year, Brasstown Creek offers some nice whitewater; don't leave Ramsey Pond without first going for a hike along the Burrells Ford Trail. amount of rainfall; all through March this area sees the most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month.
