Good hiking is available along the Bartram Trail; Harper Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. Some of the water close by flows, like Walton Creek, and Toccoa Rv Park & Campground is a nice campground nearby. Ramsey Pond is not far at all from Toccoa; if you need a location to stay Knights Inn Toccoa is a magnificent choice. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular       thing to do around Ramsey Pond; Burrells Ford Trail is a delightful local trail; an afternoon playing golf at Toccoa City Golf Course is always a delight. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Ramsey Pond, you could also explore beautiful Hughes Lake, and Toccoa Days Inn is a great location to get some rest. Don't leave Ramsey Pond without first going for a hike along the Chattooga Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Chauga River                  offers some magnificent whitewater. So much cool stuff to do at Ramsey Pond, so little time. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Brasstown Creek, and Ramsey Pond is a good location to visit for more than one day, Sunset Campground is a good location to camp nearby. Ramsey Pond is a wet place that gets a lot of rain; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest month is October. Summertime highs at Ramsey Pond mostly tend to be in the 80's; the night is quite cooler of course, usually in the 60's.
