Gilroy Branch is a stream that you may come across while here, and dry warm beds await you at Crossroads Motel. Rainsford Pond is a wet location that gets a lot of rainfall; March is the wettest month with most rain; November is when it's the driest. The warmest time of the year at Rainsford Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. On a great day at Rainsford Pond you can take a hike along the Turkey Creek Hiking Trail, and why not camp at Forks Campground since you're here at Rainsford Pond. Glide down the rapids of Stevens Creek in a kayak.
