Paddling on Broad River is so much fun. Lakes are such serene places, why not check out South Pacolet River Reservoir Number right next door to Rainbow Lake, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Spartanburg here. This lake is so wonderful. Spartanburg Days Inn is a brilliant place to get some rest, and you'll locate a delightful lake called South Pacolet River Reservoir Number One. Whitewater       paddling is splendid on Island Creek; Foothills Family Campground is a splendid local campground. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Peach Valley Golf Course is a fine golf course nearby, and of course Adventure Creek flows through this region. If you came for an overnight stay Cunningham RV Park is a pleasant location to camp, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites is a splendid place to spend a night or two. Rainbow Lake                  is a wet spot that gets a great deal of rain; March is the month that gets the most rain, and April is when it's the driest. At Rainbow Lake during the summertime highs are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
