After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge St. Stephens is a great place to spend a night or two, and a lake nearby is Midway Reserve. There is a pleasant hiking trail near Raccoon Pond called the Jerico Horse Trail; Holiday Inn Express Moncks Corner, Sc is a fine site to get some rest. Raccoon Pond gets lots of water; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is November. This lake is       so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Turkey Walk Trail is always a nice adventure, and there are swamps here too, Boar Bay is around here. Why not go to close by Cooks Creek since you're here at Raccoon Pond, and close by you come across the Swamp Fox Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. And that's not all you can do here at Raccoon Pond. KOA Kampgrounds is a perfect local campground, and Little Hellhole Reserve is a nearby lake that you could stop by.                  Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Raccoon Pond while nighttime lows are regularly in the 60's.
