If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Broad River; if you came to camp Sesquicentennial State Park is a splendid spot to do that. This lake is so wonderful. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. keeps on going; Quail Hollow Lake has it all. There are plenty of folks from Columbia here at Quail Hollow Lake, and an afternoon playing golf at Coldstream Country Club Golf is always a joy.

This Was Even Told To The Lawyers And Judges Of The Time Whom My Father Would Entertain. It Was A Wonderful Place To Have Been Privilaged To Experience. Father Had A Great Love Of Fishing And He Had A Few Other Smaller Ponds That He Would Cultivate In Different Ways. For Instance He Had A Small Pond As You Entered The Property From The Dam Entrance And We Called It The Frog Gigging Pond Because It Grew The Biggest Tadpoles Which Eventually Turned Into Monster Bullfrogs. Then He Had A Little Larger Pond Beside The Old House That My Great Grandfather Judge Ioor Hayes Had Built With His Son James Cline. Well This Pond Beside The House Was Used To Hold Large Cats That He Would Release Into The Large Pond. He Would Always Be Careful About How Many. And When He Would Release Them He Was Always Watching The Balance Of Their Environment.
