Super 8 Motel - Piedmont/Greenville Area is a good location to get some rest, and why not camp at Springwood RV Park since you're here at Prince Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Prince Lake a wet place; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while September is generally the driest month. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Near Prince Lake you come across a golf course called       Donaldson Golf Club, and drift down the rapids of Reedy River in a kayak. Don't forget to take a wonderful little tour to Little Grove Creek, and if you get bored of Prince Lake you could also visit nearby Browns Pond. For the period of the warm months at Prince Lake highs are commonly in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Prince Lake dipping down into the 30's all through                  winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Ivy Acres RV Park is a good local campground, and paddling on Saluda River is so much fun. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Greenville I-85@Augusta Road is a delightful location to spend a night or two.
