Having a great time at Powell Pond is easy. There are plenty of folks from Columbia here at Powell Pond. Powell Pond is a wet location that gets a good deal of rain; July is the month that gets the most rain while November is regularly the driest month. This lake       is so wonderful. Not far from Powell Pond, you'll stumble on Messers Pond which is a lovely lake, and a wonderful close by hotel is Ramada Limited Lugoff. Visit Kelly Creek since you're here at Powell Pond, and if you came to camp Columbia/camden RV Park is a great place to do that. There are other sites here than Powell Pond, for example Kirkland Pond; after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a fine site to spend a night or two. All through                  the warm months highs here at Powell Pond get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's.
