If you need a location to stay Carolina Lodge at Barnwell is a pleasant choice. Pond Five is a reasonably wet place frequently with a lot of rainfall; March is the month that gets the most rain; November is the month with the least moisture. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Pond Five. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in       the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Pond Five. Camping is available at Aiken state Natural Area, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not visit Pond Four.
