Through the months of summer at Pond B temperatures are ordinarily in the 90's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Pond B are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. A great spot to camp here at Pond B is Crossroads Mobile Home Park. After a long day outdoors Carolina Lodge at Barnwell is       a pleasant site to spend a night or two; Pond B is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Aiken state Natural Area is a delightful local campground. Pond B gets a large amount of water; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest of the months is November.
