This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn-Bishopville is a great place to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Player Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Lee state Natural Area is a delightful site for that. Nearby lakes? Sure, Players Pond is right next door to Player Pond; don't forget to take a wonderful little tour to Broad Branch. Player Pond frequently gets a large amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls during July; April is when it's the driest.
